We've got all sorts of exciting events and a new music video by past and current S.W.A.T. and WRITE ON! writers that we can't wait for you all to check out!

So mark your calendars for Thursday November 24, Wednesday November 30 and Thursday December 1. We've got all the info you'll need to see Paul Vermeersch, Tanis Rideout and Rebecca Rosenblum reading live as well as a link to the brand new Joseph Maviglia music video after the jump!

On Thursday, November 24, Paul Vermeersch (S.W.A.T. Writer-in-Residence from 2008-09) will be reading as part of the Speakeasy Reading Series. The reading will take place at the Magpie Tavern (831 Dundas St. W.) beginning at 7 pm. Paul is one of four readers that night. The others are Adam Honsinger, Ayelet Tsabari and Judith Thompson. Then, on Wednesday, November 30, catch 2011 S.W.A.T. Writer-in-Resdience Tanis Rideout reading as part of Pivot Readings at the Press Club. The Press Club (850 Dundas St. W.) will be hosting Tanis as well as Barry Dempster and Steve McOrmond beginning at 8 pm.

And the next night (Thursday December 1) you can hear Rebecca Rosenblum (S.W.A.T. Writer-in-Residence 2009-10) reading from her new book of short stories The Big Dream at the Lillian H. Smith branch of the Toronto Public Library. She'll be reading with fellow short story writer Anne Perdue. You can find the Lillian H. Smith TPL branch at 239 College St. Readings begin at 6:30 pm, so don't miss it!

And S.W.A.T. Writer-in-Residence 2007-08 & 2011, Joseph Maviglia has just released a music video for the song "One by One" from his album Angel in the Rain (released in 2010). You can see the music video here!
