NOW HEAR THIS! is a Toronto-based literacy program that presents the talents and tutelage of professional writers, editors and other industry professionals to the public, co-ordinates and collaborates with other arts-based community programs, schools and literacy projects, and, above all, promotes Canadian writing and literature through a culture of self-expression, participation and inclusion. 
 

 
Some of the activities that we are involved in include the ongoing S.W.A.T. (Students, Writers and Teachers) project, our collaboration with the Toronto District Catholic School Board; the associated publications of student anthologies and zine projects, the HEAR/HEAR Reading Series along with future projects such as e-residencies, youth writing competitions and one-off workshops.
